Getting there by Car?

The Adelaide Showgrounds is bounded by Goodwood Rd, Greenhill Rd and Anzac Highway and is easily accessible from all 3 arterial roads. The smaller roads on the northern and southern sides are Rose Terrace (North) and Leader Street (South). The main entrance for the tournament will likely be from Rose Tce, where on-site parking will be also available.

Getting there by Taxi?

The Adelaide Showgrounds is a 5-minute drive from the Adelaide CBD and a 15-minute journey from the Adelaide Airport.

In the city, hailing a cab from the St or going to a taxi rank is the best way of securing a ride. Hotel staff will also help you find a taxi. All taxis in Adelaide accept major credit cards and Cabcharge. On evenings in the city, you can find major taxi ranks on the North Terrace near SkyCity casino and also at the corner of Hindley and Morphett Sts.

A typical city cab fare is $12. Daytime Fares (6am – 7pm Monday to Friday) – Flagfall $3.50 and $1.69 per kilometre. All other times – Flagfall $4.50 and $2.19 per kilometre.

Need to get there by Bus?

Buses depart from Adelaide frequently to the Adelaide Showgrounds. Recommended are any buses that stop on Goodwood Road Bus stop 2. For example, go to stop E1 on Adelaide Hills side of King William Street and catch a G10. There is an approximate 5 minute walk to the Rose Tce Entrance from Goodwood Road. Please check the trip planner on the Adelaide Metro website for times & bus routes. Ask for a 2 section ticket for $2.80.

Catching the Tram?

The Tram departs Adelaide from Victoria Square & outside the Adelaide Railway Station every 20 minutes, with the journey taking five-minutes to reach Goodwood Road Station, Stop 3. It is then a five-minute walk from the tram stop to the Adelaide Showground. For route and timetable information please check the Adelaide Metro website. Buy a 2 section ticket for $2.80.

What about by Train?

Trains depart from the Adelaide Train Station on North Tce frequently. The train ride will take approximately 9 minutes and you need to get off at Goodwood Station. Once off the train it will be approximately a 10 minute walk to the Rose Tce entrance. Please check the Adelaide Metro website for specific train lines & times. Ask for a 2 section ticket for $2.80.
